Monday morning pity party b!tchchfest
UGH. Besides the fact that it's Monday.....my car died and I have to start shopping for a new one. This would have been so much better if it happened six months from now when we will have a little more room in our budget, not right after we started paying $1600 a month for daycare! Grumble grumble.
My dad has a pretty serious health problem which he has to begin a year-long treatment for.
DH's company is having layoffs tomorrow. The rumors have been circulating for a week now and they are being so douchey about it. They had empty boxes delivered to their office last week which are just sitting there taunting them. Security has a list of the people that are being let go and apparently the protocol is: they just walk up to your desk, tell you that you are canned and escort you out. Then you are supposed to come back on a weekend to retrieve your stuff. He's been freaking out all weekend.
DS was a terror this morning and screamed/sobbed the whole way to daycare b/c I wouldn't let him finish watching Thomas and Friends. Whew, I think I am done.

Oh my! I think you have reason to have a pity party.
I hope your DH doesn't get laid off and what a crappy way to be fired. At least have some integrity with your employees who have worked hard for your company!
