How are you on this fine Monday morning?
I'm all moved. It rained the whole time, and the move cost more than I thought it would, but at least it's done. I've slept like schit the past couple of nights now that I'm trying to get used to my bed again. BF had this firm mattress on a really low bed, and I have a pillowtop mattress on a super-high bed. It's thrown my sleep off.
Yesterday was BF's birthday, and I ended up completely ruining my diet. Ah well, new day, new start.
This is my siggy.
Re: How was your weekend?
Did you get everything made that you wanted? It must be a relief to be done with moving!
My weekend was nice, we did a whole lot of nothing. Saturday we went to lunch and out for some drinks and yesterday we just hung out and relaxed some more. I got a good long run in even though I literally wanted to lay on the couch and do nothing. We usually don't have such low key weekends. I think the rain/grayness helped build a lack of motivation. Haha!
The trainer that we had planned for the Murph had to cancel because he was sick, so we have to wait a bit longer for some help.
Ha. I have a firm mattress on a super high bed. Sorry that it rained on you. Rain on moving day is not the best.
The weekend was very low key. We were supposed to have company this weekend, but their flight was cancelled due to snows. Bummer. We drank lots of wine because we were sad. And we watched football because we have to.
The result of the games is that I am now terrified of our SuperBowl party and think it would be a good idea to cancel. I am mostly sure that DH does not agree with me. He apparently didn't see himself during the second half of the Pats game-- not something that I wish others to experience.
Sounds like football at our place. Only FI recognizes he's ridiculous so we usually spend the superbowl alone with me in another room. Since the Steelers were out of it for a while, he has an "I don't really care" attitude this year, which is strange.
Sorry that your move got rained on, moving in the rain is just awful. The last time we moved and it was raining I just stopped because i was tired of getting soaked when i walked outside.
My weekend was rather low key and boring. Friday night I went and watched movies with one of my friends and we drank then caught up on life.
Saturday I went to the gym and then sat around all afternoon reading until fi got off, then fi and I ran a few errands and had a impromtu date night complete with dinner and dessert at Dairy Queen
.
Yesterday I just sat around getting stuff ready for school this week so nothing exciting.
I only wish that DH knew his limits. Of course, he thinks it's fun and doesn't realize that he just might scare people away. I have already given him a very stern talking to. I imagine a couple more are in the works before the big day.
Birthdays are exempt from diets. /gavel
Glad to hear the move is done, I hope you'll be adjusted to the bed again soon and sleeping well again!
My weekend was really good. Friday night we went out for drinks at the place where we had our first date. Saturday we had a birthday lunch for Mr. Bang's mom and then a winter party with some work friends and their kids. Most of the kids are right around the same age and they had a blast playing with our hosts' puppies and each other. Sunday we ran errands and watched the Pats/Ravens game. We've been in a really lazy rut lately - it felt good to DO stuff.
The little dude's mom was at the birthday party for Mr. Bang's mom, and she and I are getting along really well. I'm still not 100% comfortable and I'm sure she isn't either, but we're doing well.
Saturday my mom and I went to two different places to try on dresses and Sunday we went to one place. I tried on a lot of dresses and I now have 2 dresses from the place we went yesterday that I really like and can't decide which one I want. They are more in my price range than the Maggie Sottero one I like, so I think I will have to go by price.
That's pretty much all I did this weekend. It was so much fun!
Moving is the worst. It is well worth the cost, whatever it was.
We had an awesome weekend. Amazing dinner Friday night, productive Saturday cleaning the basement, then watched a movie and had incredible sex. Sunday I got my hair done, which cost a small fortune at this new place, but it looks pretty fab so I can live with it. We took the dogs to the park and then relaxed with a fire and watched football. I made cauliflower and parmesan soup and pasta for dinner. Fantastic weekend.
No, I wimped out. It's blonder than I've been in a long time. How can I upload a photo from my phone?
I have no idea.
I'm sure you look great.
