Well it's back to the grind. I had a tough time waking up this morning. I've been waking up a bit earlier to be able to eat a little something before I leave. I was arriving at work starving before. I hope you all have a good Monday.

Man, it's dark and dreary, and raining here! Crazy weather, I feel bad for H who has to deliver things to gas stations all day, what miserable weather for him.
I'm in a good mood, I just woke up from a vivid dream where we had the cutest baby boy ever. They say the mother's dreams are normally pretty accurate on gender for some reason, so I guess we'll see on V-day whether that's true or not!
I'm so going to have cake for breakfast. Then later I'm going to try out my new pregnancy exercise DVD, because I have to do something to feel more human again! lol My classes started today so I have to go check all of those out too. For now I think Grey's Anatomy and cake is going to be a good way to start the day, then I'll get to the important stuff.
Talk about crazy weather last night!! We had to drive to DH's dad's house last evening and it was incredibly foggy on the way home with lots of lightening. Apparently we were under a tornado warning and I didn't even know it! Around 1am we had a torential downpour that lasted until I fell asleep. At least half our snow is melted now, but I think we're supposed to get more later.
Today I have a lot of work to do around the house: practice for my grad auditions, put together my portfolio, laundry, etc. I'm also going to call our local YWCA to see what they have in the way of possible treatment programs for my SIL. I'll give you guys an update on our "family/foster care" situation tonight when I have more information. All I can say is I HATE DRAMA!! And awful people.

I just saw on the news that it's suppose to rain her too today. I hope Raymond decides to take the dogs to his parents on his way to work. That way they won't have to be out in the rain. Maya LOVES playing in the rain and I HATE it when she gets all wet and muddy because I'm the one that always has to clean her up.
And if it's true about the dreams then I hope it's accurate because I once had a dream that we had the cutest baby boy.

It's raining here, too, this morning. But I don't really mind--it'll wash the snow away. The most exciting thing about my weekend was that I started reading The Hunger Games. I really, really don't have time to read for fun, since I'm doing my MA in literature, but I picked it up out of curiosity and now I can't put it down!!! This week I'm sending out my second (and final) PhD application. If anyone has some good luck to spare, please send it my way

Morning! I'm in an oddly good mood this morning. Very weird for a monday morning, lol. It's suppost to rain all day today. I love the rain so it doesn't bother me. Today, H and I need to go to the laundry mat this morning so I need to wake him up soon. The roads are a little icy right now so I want to wait a little while longer before going. Plus we usually go out for breakfast when we do laundry, I was sick when I went to bed last night so I am starving now. I plan on making H a hearty lunch this afternoon before he has to go to work. I want to get a good workout in today too.
Cake sounds good for breakfast! I wouldn't mind having some right now.

Today I am starting the first day of my eat better/workout routine
I started the morning with a vegan protein shake (chocolate powder, almond milk, banana) and I packed a spinach salad, clementine, babybel and almonds to eat today. After work I'm meeting 2 girlfriends for yoga at a new studio - we got a Groupon so hopefully we like it!
DH and I are making breakfast for dinner tonight when I get home from yoga - poached eggs, veggie sausage and potatoes with a yummy fruit and vegetable juice. I think day 1 is going to be a sucess! I hope I can keep this going!

Stoked I can't believe that people's homes were leveled, that is so devastating. I wouldn't be able to work either. I hope you don't end up getting sick and it's just because of your rotten night's sleep that you feel like that!

We had a good amount of rain and fog yesterday, which of course turned into ice overnight. That along with snow starting around midnight made for a fun drive into work today.
This week is pretty much a typical week. I have a district meeting to talk about math curriculum on Thursday, but other than that, nothing special.

Morning ladies! It's another busy week for me. Unfortunately it will be this way for the next few months. This stinks! I already miss being able to check in throughout the day.

Good Morning! It's Monday. Sigh. I had a terrible night's sleep last night. But that could be due to the weather radio going off every 15 minutes for about an hour. And since it's in the living room and not the bedroom, I had to get out of bed and go turn it off. So it's not a happy morning. While we didn't get the tornados up here, we did have a tornado warning at about 2:00am for the southern part of the county. We did have rain though. And now, flooding. The main road that leads out of what will be our new subdivision was closed due to flooding this morning. I'm just hoping our house doesn't sit in a flood plain.
Now, it's just a normal week at work for me. We have our home inspection on Friday. Here's hoping that goes well!

Good morning everyone! Just a boring Monday for me. I'm feeling very unmotivated, and it's probably going to come back to bite me in the butt later this afternoon when all the work piles up.
I'm also really missing H after spending all weekend together, just the two of us. Which makes me feel pathetic and selfish since I'll see him tonight around 7. We used to be in a LDR and only see each other about twice per month, so 11 hours really isn't that bad...

No kidding. I'm so tired of seeing the destruction around us. I'm glad you're okay. I assumed you were since Huntsville didn't really get hit, but still wondered.
We were all fine up here. But, according to Facebook, my niece and nephew, were scared to death. They live north of us, around where the big tornado hit up here in April. The rain didn't bother them so much as the wind. My nephew, who's 7, was afraid it was going to be like April.
I know a lot of people are like that, especially in areas that were hard hit. It doesn't help that JP Dice (weatherman here- not sure if y'all see him or not) said it would compare to 4/27. James Spann just about had a come-apart when he heard that.

Raining here today, Josh gave me a ride to work today, so I didn't have to walk. We're still recovering from the 49ers loss yesterday. I'm at work and the furnace is out, so it's a bit cold, sitting here with my gloves on, wrapped up in my wool blanket. I have my preconception appointment on Wednesday! and then I'm heading back to Wisconsin for the weekend on Thursday. Going to have a girls weekend with my best friends and hang out with my family for a little bit. Hopefully it will be relaxing, I have a lot going on right now at work and am looking for a break.

I am actually in a good mood today even though its Monday. I feel refreshed from this weekend and motivated to be productive this week. Lets see how long that lasts!
It's not absolutely necessary, but you can just get checked out to eliminate fertility problems, discuss things to do to improve conception chances, etc.
Hey girls. Today was a professional day- teachers went in for a work day with no students. The best part is that there were no meetings for once, so I actually got to work and catch up all day.
Tonight, I have to make a quick dinner since H has a meeting at 5, then I'm teaching one flute lesson at 6:30.
