Highlight of the weekend: I made and ate a lot of really good food this weekend! Beer bread and spinach dip plus gingerbread cookies for book club on Saturday (another highlight), and homemade guacamole and chili yesterday.
This week I'm looking forward to: We ordered a set of bedroom furniture in November and it's finally being delivered on Wednesday.
Today I'm thankful for: I'm thankful that the roads weren't too bad this morning and I got into work safely. I'm also thankful that this winter has been mild, and we're already halfway through!
Any happy thoughts you'd like to share: Now that the holidays and football season are both over, I think that I'm going to start planning a trip to Europe! I need something fun to look forward to and focus on. That's making me happy this morning.
Highlight of the weekend: I set out a bunch of bird and squirrel feeders in our new yard about a week ago and I hadn't seen anyone using them yet. Yesterday when we showed up at the house there were about 100 birds and a couple of squirrels tearing into the food. I'm such a nerd but it really made me happy. I could watch birds and squirrels like tv.
This week I'm looking forward to: Hoping that we can get our hardwoods refinished this weekend so we can get moving on carpeting the other rooms and move in soon!!!
Today I'm thankful for: Heat and good family and friends
Any happy thoughts you'd like to share: I can't wait until we move so I can stop living out of boxes and bags.
Highlight of the weekend: Laying in bed and on the couch all.freaking.day Sat with DH and the dogs watching the whole first season of Person of Interest. I haven't been able to just lay around in a long time.
This week I'm looking forward to: Going to Wilmington, NC Thursday

Highlight of the weekend: Spending quality time with the baby. He was being so sweet and smiley and snuggly.

Highlight of the weekend: Having lots of family and friends for L's 1st bday party (no theme just lots of tex-mex food, cake and ice cream)
This week I'm looking forward to: Tonight, so I can give L her bday present. (I forgot yesterday). Friday? It's L's 1 year appointment.
Today I'm thankful for: the shorter (time wise) commute and all the food that is at home. YAY
Any happy thoughts you'd like to share: One year ago today, I was in the hospital waiting for contractions to speed up. They had broken my water at 8:30 and L was born at 2:47. I am so thankful we were able to have her (and to survive her first year). I'm also glad that I don't have to work Wednesday.
I'm looking forward to: hmmmm the weekend? HA!! Nothing exciting going on this week.
I'm thankful for my family
I had such an awesome quiet weekend. We stayed in PJ's all day yesterday and just vegged at home (well mostly). I hit the grocery store early in the AM and that was all i did.
Happy birthday to Miss L!! Can't believe its been a year.
Highlight of the weekend: DS had a good couple of days (it's funny how his mood can make or break a weekend!). He also cut his 3rd tooth! And we got our living room almost all cleaned up and that makes both me and DH very happy!
This week I'm looking forward to: Hopefully off on Friday. DH is going to be away Fri-Sun so I'm looking forward to a little free time on Friday and hopefully a good weekend with DS.
Today I'm thankful for: DH who cleaned off my car on Saturday and shoveled the walk.

Highlight of the weekend: RW dinner at B Bistro with girlfriends, drinks after where I laughed until my stomach hurt :-)
This week I'm looking forward to: Another furniture delivery... including the dining room buffet so I can unpack some more boxes!
Today I'm thankful for: DH making my cup of tea which makes it that much easier to wake up while it's still dark out
Any happy thoughts you'd like to share: One of my co-workers comes back from maternity leave next week, not only do I miss her company, but it's going to be a huge relief to my workload.
Highlight of the weekend: I've been teeting on the edge of being sick, and it seems like its past, but we'll see. I did manage to finish GWTW on Saturday, so I'm happy and relieved about that. Also - DD was ridiculously cute yesterday and decided that DH was her Mommy and basically wouldn't leave his side all day. I think this helped soften the Raven's blow for him and made up for several weeks of "you're not my friend" nonsense.
This week I'm looking forward to: DD's performance on Thursday afternoon - her class is doing "The Little Red Hen" and she's been singing her parts (and eveyrone else's for about 2 weeks)
Today I'm thankful for: Deciding on our summer vacation already and having a crap load of vacation time.

Any happy thoughts you'd like to share: Annabelle cried this morning at daycare drop off, usually it breaks my heart, but I know she is in great hands. I just got the cutest picture from DCP, of A swaddling her baby doll. I may need to take some tips from her!

Highlight of the weekend: Seeing The Artist...it was an incredible movie. Also, having a lazy day on Saturday. It was fantastic!

Any happy thoughts you'd like to share: I'm excited for a daytrip in March to the beach for a plunge event. My brother is going with me and I'm happy that we're so close.
