As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update: All moved in!
Well the move happened and it is over ... we have a ton of boxes to unpack in our office, but everything is there. And, best part, we didn't fight! Ex and I ALWAYS fought when we moved, so I was nervous about that. There were a few instances where we were both tired and got a bit snippy, but we both realized it and apologized.
BF was up tossing and turning all night last night. I asked him what was wrong and he said he was just worried about ds and the dog and how they were doing in the new house. I reminded him that we have slept there many times before and they both know where to find us if they need something.
DS was at ex's house this past weekend and usually ex just drops him off on Sunday night. This time I knew he'd stay a bit to check out ds' new room and such, but I didn't know he'd bring his girlfriend with him. So I got to tour ex and his gf around my new house. Ex's face was priceless ... he had this "she totally won" look on his face. Not that it's a competition, but since he left me for the other woman and told me no one would ever love me and I'd be alone all the rest of my life when he walked out, I think he was a bit embarassed that he left with that attitude and my new life is about a million times better than it was with him (or than his is now).

My move went well too, well, other than the fact that it rained the whole time and took twice as long as I thought it would (and, thus, cost twice as much). All's well that ends well though. My dogs were soooooo excited to see the big bed. The older one slept in it last night at BF's urging. BF was in heaven - he likes my bed better than his (and thus why his is now in the guest room). Yesterday was his birthday, so he counted it as a present.
After everything was moved on Saturday, we went to a super-late lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. It was one of the best meals of my life, LOL. Warm pizza and soup on a cold, rainy day. Mmmmmm. BF took today off from work so a contractor could come fix some electrical issues - and he's unpacking some boxes for me. Woo-hoo!
