supportive, yet persistent

I think the H feels bad that he wasn't with me at my other appts last week due to work, but really he wasn't needed and my mom happened to be free and in the area both times so she was there with me.

Now he texts me saying he took tomorrow off so he could go with me to the next doctor.  I told him I didn't think it was necessary and since it was a first visit it would be mostly paperwork and consultation, no major procedures.  He is insisting on going anyway.

Of course he would wait until I see a butt doctor to insist on being there.   Typical.  Wink

Re: supportive, yet persistent

  • That's super sweet.
  • Aw, he just cares about you and wants to be there for you.  How cute.
  • Ha! This is cute.

  • Typical male to be supportive of the butt.

Maybe if I have to do a colonoscopy we can ask for a 2 for 1 deal, and the H can go through sympathy pains with me.  lol

I doubt he'll go for that, though.    One of us needs to have a fully working body to take care of the other here, he will probably say.

DH and I at the end of each year talk about our highs and lows of the previous year.  His low was the anxiety of his colonoscopy and the high was that the colonoscopy was a breeze!!

  • Aww, that's really sweet of him! The thought of a 2-for-1 colonoscopy made me laugh!

Yay, I was totally going for comedy here.

If I can't make light of the situation then I will drive myself nuts.

Ang, I am so glad his was a success.  I am sure the anxiety is probably worse than the actual procedure, for realz!

  • Aw, that's sweet of your H!

Hopefully the butt doctor can figure out what's going on.

I had a colonoscopy about a year ago and the prep wasn't fun, but the actual procedure was a breeze.  I don't remember a thing. :)
