Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Kindle Fire?
I know some of you have one...I'm seriously thinking of getting this for my husband for his birthday. He loves to read but he is not the most tech savy person.
Besides books, movies and music what else does it do? Can he check his email? Text? What apps can he get?

I have a kindle fire and I love it!! You can get on the internet and check email. You can also get pretty much any app. Im not that tech savy either so I really only use it to play on the internet and read.
Although if he is going to use it primarly to read I would say since the Fire has the color screen it isn't as easy to read as the normal Kindle.
