Staging Question- bar stools
Sighh. So I made a huge mistake. I bought 2 bar stools without measuring first. I looked at them online and had my DH pick them up. They are clearance and NOT returnable. The most annoying part is that they are simply for staging- they won't even work at our new home.
So the stools are too wide for my small bar area. Should I:
1. just use one stool

2. turn them the other way and use both stools (picture is of one- I haven't unpacked the other one yet)
I wish I could return them and just start all over. But I can't.
*Please* ignore the mess on the bar- I'm in the middle of packing HELL.
Re: Staging Question- bar stools
I'd use just one.
Turning them would look odd. I'd just use one.
Any chance you can sell them on CL for what you paid (or more)?
I wouldn't use them. One doesn't quite look right to me and turning them doesn't work.

I agree, it really doesn't look big enough for 2 and one just draws attention to how small it is. I think you are fine without them. Looks too small to be a breakfast nook anyways.
Skip them and sell on craigslist.
Wrong height. Using one makes the space look small. Turning them sideways just looks weird and would call negative attention to the space.

I agree. Sorry.
