Would you vote for someone for president if they had an open marriage?
Let's pretend the candidate was running for your political party & you agreed with at least 60% of his views.
My intention is to NOT discuss politics here, just a hypothetical situation...

    I steer clear of politics post around here, seems people drop like flies when others dont agree.

    It wouldn't matter to me, no.  My problem comes when politicians go on and on about "family values" and the "sanctity of marriage" whilst carrying on multiple affairs.

    No, I totally agree. I don't want to get into politics. I was just wondering if someone who had an open marriage would sway your voting decision.

    I wouldn't care. I didn't care about Clinton's penis and I didn't care about Cain's. I care how they run the country, not their marriage.

    It doesn't matter to me.  Having an open marriage is a million times better than being a sleazy cheater, and we have tons of those in office, so bring on the open marriagers.  Besides, I am very liberal so if they have an open marriage, chances are they are more liberal too and would have views on issues like gay marriage and stuff that I would agree on.  I don't care how you live your life, just don't try to control everyone else's.. that's my opinion.

    As long as they don't openly do this and still oppose gay marriage, I'm fine with it. If they are a hypocrite about it then no way.
