A couple brain cells just died...

I am not feeling well-- hence, why I've spent even more time than usual on Facebook.

I feel like I now have about 1/8 the brain cells I started the day off with, after reading articles about politics, social issues, and just regular people's posts.

This is a real post: "I was like what, and then I was like oh." (Yes, a friend of my niece.)

I think I need to watch a documentary or something. Anyone have a suggestion? LOL

  • My eyes bleed when I read what my 15yo cousin writes on FB. It's scary and upsetting.
  • The only saving grace when it comes to my almost-15 year old niece is that she still giggles and gets indignant simultaneously if I jokingly imply that boys may be trying to corrupt her-- so I know that so far, the thought of having sex with a boy scares the bajeezus out of her.

Now if I could only get her to see that one of her friends is a big, thoughtless leech, I would feel 100% confident in my niece's ability to stay out of life-altering trouble...

But yes, I have learned to just "not see" a lot of the internet speak and such that she types... it's just less painful this way.
