Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Good news re: the ferals...
If you're on facebook, you probably already saw this, but I thought I'd share here anyway. 
I had e-mailed our local humane society asking about their low cost spay and neuter for feral cats. I got a phone call today from the manager of the clinic saying that they have a fundraiser coming up this weekend, and they want to use the feral colony as their "special project"! So they're going to share the story with their donors, show a slide show of pictures I e-mailed them, and raise money specifically for this group of cats! And they're going to help us trap them so they can fix them!! I am so excited! I was feeling a little overwhelmed with the enormity of it all, so to have them help out like this is just so amazing. I'm so happy the cats can get in and get fixed and get a little vet attention!
Carl is happy, too...oh, if he only knew what was coming.
