Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. PR: A call to S08 Shutterbugs!
I think [hope] there will be interest in this since we have many ladies who have picked up photography as a hobby.
I will post a weekly challenge or topic that we can all participate in - I will create a post Tuesday morning where we can all share what we've captured and I will also announce the next week's theme (feel free to send me ideas). When I announce the theme / challenge, I will also try to link to sites with good reference information. Use the challenge / topic to further your skills. For example, this week we'll focus on "people as a subject." So if you think your weakness is posing, then work on that in your images. If you think your weakness is composition, try working on that.
I think it would be great to use new images as much as possible to encourage us to continue to shoot new pictures and to try new skills, ideas, and techniques. Obviously our archives will be referenced when we need examples, to compare, or to ask questions!
Then we can all come together and post our image/s for CC. When you post your image: link to a larger version, include your EXIF Data, and include the skill or technique that you are trying towork on that you would like the most feedback on. Let's really breakdown the CC beyond "that's a great image" if we can!
The point of these posts will be to get the board moving, to talk photography amongst those interested, to learn, and of course to AW 
(Maybe to separate the photography specific posts for those who would like to skip over them we can add PR (Photography Related) to the begining of the subject line. I am assuming that the weekly challenge may lead to more photography related posts.)

Sounds great and thanks for heading this up! I think we'll all get a lot out of it and it will be fun to share and see everyone's pictures!
