Mini Vent
So I'm laying in bed last night watching a TV show before bed (How I Met Your Mother is awesome!) and I hear this gigantic crash and something shattering. I automatically assume it's one of the animals because, face it, they're a pain in the butt. lol But no. It's our roommate. He was doing... something. I don't even know what he was doing but he knocked over my stacked Noritake mixing bowls and shattered 2 of them. I'm pretty much devastated.
I LOVED those bowls. Like a lot. And they're almost $140 for the set of 3. The only one that survived was the little baby one which isn't good for too much. I searched online and the lowest I can find them is just under $100 and I just can't spend that much right now. It's so very lame. =( It's our first broken wedding present.

I would like to but in all honesty, his financial affairs are so screwed up that the probably wouldn't even be able to afford it. He's not good with money, at all so now he's like massively in debt. I may just have to deal with it and buy a cheaper set of bowls. But then they won't match everything else!!! lol

I completely agree with this. He should have to do something to make up for it. Does he at least pay his rent to you guys on time? How did he even break them??
im going to try and work something out with him. he already scratched my new nonstick pan so im not thrilled with him. ill definitely have to keep an eye on him. he likes buying movies so hed better not buy anything else until i have new bowls. im glad you ladies are mad with me. it makes me feel better. lol

Replacement warranty huh? I'll have to check into that! Although I think the boys tossed the broken pieces so we might be kind of screwed on that. I would like to know in the future for our dishes though because they're the same brand.
Oh and speaking of broken things, I went home to my parents house a couple weeks ago and while I was gone Matt broke one of our toasting flutes from the wedding. I'm so very sad doubly. I just forgot to mention this previously.
