I loved last night's episode! I loved seeing MM and David/Snow and James' stories.
I was really hoping that they would have some sort of revelation when they kissed, though. Like Graham did with Emma.
I'm still clueless who the new visitor in town is. I wonder if there will be something romantic going on with him and Emma.

I'm going nuts trying to figure out who the Stranger is in real life. I know for an absolute fact that I've seen him in something before, but I cannot think of it. Does anyone know?
Anyway, yes, I loved the episode last night too. I never knew that there was an 8th dwarf named Stealthy
I was wondering how she got hooked up with the dwarfs.
According to his IMDB page, he was on ER for 2004-2005. He has had roles in a few other shows/movies, too

is it the type writer that "wrote" the fairy tale book that henry has....

Why did Snow have to drink the potion?? Should have listened to Grumpy. So, Prince Charming is going to have to make Snow love him him all over again.
What is Rumple going to use Snow's hair for?

It's driving me nuts not knowing who the stranger/writer is. For a minute I thought he looked a little like Grumpy, but that doesn't seem to fit...
I know him from Covert Affairs! But he was also in an episode of Buffy. He was one of the group of bullies that turn into the demon hyenas with Zander in the first season. He was one of them that ate the principle. Lol. Ew!
This is a very interesting theory. I like it. It would definitely stir things up.

I actually wasn't terribly crazy about last night's episode. I think the real life David/Mary Margaret story isn't very compelling. I mean, he's married. But then he sits down and tells Katherine that he's willing to work on it? I just feel like he needs to pull the bandaid off, then pursue Mary Margaret. It just seems like he's trying to straddle the fence and it makes them come off as jerky, even if they're "destined" to be together. I also thought the dove has to find her flock storyline really lame. But that's just me.
I enjoyed the flashbacks much more, and I'm interested in the stranger. I do think he'll be a love interest for Emma, but I have no idea what his involvement in the story will be.
I LOVE that you remembered the Buffy connection.

I was curious if somehow The Stranger is Henry's dad, but that can't be it if Emma didn't recognize him.

Last night's episode raised so many more questions and answered nothing. How did Snow help Red "when no one else would"? What's Rumpel going to do with Snow's hair? Why does David have memories of a past with his wife when no one else has any memory of the past? Did Rumple and Regina put another curse on him? I'm so confused.
Like pp, I also think that the stranger is the writer of Henry's book and now that things are changing, he's here to write the rest of the story. I was also hoping that David's wife was cheating and that's how she'd get pregnant, which would give him a good reason to leave her. I have little interest in the modern portion of the show, they need to pick it up a bit.

I liked the episode. I also thought their kiss would trigger some kind of memories. Pretty stupid of them to finally give into their feelings on main street where everyone could see them, like it's not going to get back to Katherine in lightning speed even if Regina didnt see them.
I agree. When they started kissing the music was getting all big and happy, and I was like, "He's still married!!!"
I also was with pp who thought Katharine was cheating, and David was going to tell MM they could be together now b/c he's leaving the cheating hag. But no, false alarm, and he's a cheating cheater who cheats. (Stop leading Katherine on already! I'm sure she's somehow deceitful, but so far she's just... sad)
And to keep with the dittos, I too, thought the Stranger might be the Writer of Henry's book (descended from the Grimms?), but the idea that he might be able to magically change stuff is cool.

I totally thought she was going to be cheating and knocked up with someone else's baby... at least that would make him not be a cheating jerk.
This is what I was thinking too. I was talking to a friend who also thinks it may be Rumpy's son, all grown up. If anyone could have his kid escape the curse, it would be him.
And I totally thought that Charming was going to be like "That can't be my baby we have never slept together!" And then there would be a nice reason to dump her and get with Snow. But now it still kind of icky, especially since he just told his wife they could work in it. Prince Notso Charming...
I want Red's backstory. I have been intrigued by that for awhile now.
I've been wondering this too! I'm still convinced Regina just "found" his wife. Regina obviously knows who John Doe really is. I think she thought Mary Margaret would stay away from David because he was married. (And she tried!) I think Midas's daughter in Storybrooke must be an old girlfriend who agreed to be his wife and thought he would automatically love her because he was told she was his wife. Maybe I'm thinking too much into this one.
