Emily Maynard is the new Bachelorette?
I just read this on people.com...I guess after her and Brad broke up they saw her as a possible new bachelorette...They are going to film where she lives so she won't be away from her daughter...I am hoping this time she finds someone that is not a total jerk...

Ummm....yeah. I'm not even an overly judgmental person and I'm judging for this.
Yeah..I don't know what is the deal with them bringing back all of these people for the second go around..It is like they are pushing them to find someone..I don't think I would like to find a person I am sort of pushed towards and then have it work out...Kudos to Trista and Ryan for being an inspiration to the show because I think they are the only success story that this show has...Is Emily really going to find her "true love" with this go around? (Me shaking my head right now lol..)
All of this, plus for someone who was supposedly so protective of her daughter and only looking for love (not the publicity and fame,) why would you put her in a position to have to meet new men who aren't going to be in her life, have to be in front of the cameras she was SO shy around the first time etc? The chances of finding love on this show are not good. You tried it once and it didn't work. I just don't think you can be so flip about it when you have a child involved.
I'm so happy that my brother found an awesome girlfriend and pulled himself out of the contestant pool!

Yuck, she annoys the crap out of me. I think she's a phony. I am another person who's so sick of the retreads.
I probably will read the spoilers but not watch this season, just like I am with the Bachelor.
Confession, I'll definitely be on the lookout for the season being filmed here in Charlotte!

I'm really bummed about this actually.
There's something about her that screams "I want to be a celebrity." This is probably super flammable, but here goes:
The love of her life Ricky Hendricks wasn't exactly a looker. No way a guy like that would have landed a girl like her without being super duper rich and somewhat famous. So, I always have gotten the golddigger vibe from her (she lives in a huge house and all, paid for by the Hendricks family so they can see their grandchild).
Then, on that season, she claimed she was upset to be at the Nascar track, but then she dated Dale Earnhardt Jr. for a while. That seemed phoney. She also dated another d-lister. He's some club promoter who was famous for about 5 minutes because he dated someone famous. Maybe Alyssa Milano or Mischa Barton or something like that.
So, when you have a girl who dates a string of "celebrities" and then goes on the Bachelor, it seems to me she's just looking for either a famous mate or a big break.
