weekly book post

Hey girls.  I finished the book I was talking about last week but haven't really started a new one yet. I have one I have been carrying around but not had time to start it. I have been reading magazines that came in the mail and a newsletter.

Re: weekly book post

  • I finished Sing You Home (Jodi Picoult) and Flirting with Death- Assassin's Anonymous #1 (Heidi Hall).

I'm about to start Catcher in the Rye, the Outsider's, and try-to-read Weetzie Bat for next Monday's class.

I also started listening to my first ever audiobook! I listen to it while driving to and from work and I'm hoping that I can start making time to use the treadmill since that gives me extra listening time!

  • I finished Mockingjay and started and finished In Dreams by J. sterling. It's a YA book that I got free off of amazon for my kindle. It was entertaining enough to keep my attention and an easy read, but pretty much just q fluff book. But hey, it wasn't horrible and it was free so I can't complain! :) now I'm going to read tons of sample chapters (I love that feature of the kindle/amazon) until I decide what book to go for next.

  • I'm still making my way through 11/22/63 by Stephen King.  I'm about halfway into it, and really enjoying it so far.
  • Still reading "The Paris Wife" by Paula McClain.  It's a pretty good read so far.
  • I just started reading Inside Out and Back Again by Thanhha Lai.  It won the Newbury Honor award yesterday.

I am listening to The Story of Beautiful Girl by Rachel Simon.  This book is wonderful and I highly recommend it!
