Do you eat breakfast?

I always forget and I need to make an effort to actually do it. It makes me feel less ravenous when lunch time rolls around.

I usually just have a vita muffin or eggs.

Re: Do you eat breakfast?

  • But if you don't have breakfast, when do you use your As Seen on TV egg cookers? Angel

I do usually have breakfast.  There's no way I can survive until lunch without eating something!  I've been trying to keep breakfast low carb, which basically means eggs and sometimes sausage or ham on the side.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

They're called Eggies! How could you forget such an important detail?!

They're such a PITA, so I usually just have 2 eggs over medium.

  • I just get up and go in the morning, so I bring stuff that transports easily. Prior to being pregnant I'd usually eat some fruit with tea or hot chocolate (or water if I wasn't feeling anything warm). I'm not a big breakfast/morning eater, but I usually get a little hungry before lunch.

That's not enough anymore, so in addition to the fruit I bring a mini bagel (whole grain) and cream cheese (sometimes peanut butter). I usually eat that earlier in the morning for "breakfast", then the fruit later in the morning as a "snack" to bridge me to lunch.

Granola bars are great too and very portable.

  • I always eat breakfast... during the workweek, I assemble my oatmeal at home and it's cooked and ready to eat when I get to work.

    Hahahahaha!

And I totally forgot what they were called, hence my lame description.  I could never forget pajama jeans though!  We need to do another GTG so you can model them.  Weren't you going to post a pic here???

  • Yes, but usually not until I get to work.  I have trouble eating in the first hour that I'm awake.  I just don't have an appetite.  Then all of a sudden I get super hungry.  That makes weekend breakfasts tough because H wakes up before I do, then waits around for me to get up, then has to keep waiting to eat breakfast if he wants me to eat with him.

I'm the same way about not being hungry or wanting to eat until after I've been up for a while.  And DH is weird about wanting to eat our meals together--at least dinner, not necessarily breakfast because he's usually starving as soon as he opens his eyes and can't wait for me :)

I know! I am going to some day, I just never remember! Which is surprising because they look so fabulous that you'd think I would be dying to photograph myself in them. Haha
  • I'm a little late here. Most mornings I will pick up a muffin with my DD coffee. I'm not hungry until 10:30ish.

  • Not usually. If I do, it's whatever fruit or pieces of toast/waffle DS doesn't finish.
  • I used to skip it often but ever since getting pregnant with Lil I HAVE to eat breakfast or I'm a mess for the whole day.  I actually quite enjoy having the chance to sit down in the morning and relax while eating breakfast with Lil and DH. I'm not hungry and I'm calmer.

I usually have a bowl of cereal or a bagel with cream cheese.  On the weekend we usually have 1 "special" breakfast of scrambled eggs, french toast, or pancakes.

  • I do. Usually, I'll have a bowl of cereal at home, but if I'm lazy/running late, I'll grab a bagel at work.
