Glitter nail polish question
Haley what is this foil trick you speak off? I just spent an hour getting off "getting miss piggy with it" off my toes on Sunday.
Re: Glitter nail polish question
omg, prepare to have your life changed.
all you do it get some foil, and cut it into 10 squares.
i take 5 cotton balls and pull them in half.
working one hand at a time, soak half a ball in polish remover, then put it on your nail, wrap it in foil so it's tight around your finger. do all your nails on one hand, and leave it for 5-10 minutes, depending on how chunky your polish is.
after the time runs out, just press down and twist the foil off...99% of the polish comes off in that one twist. you might have to use a q-tip for around the edges of your nails, but that's it.
i've never tried it on my toes, but this has made all my glitter polishes MUCH more accessible, knowing i don't have to fight with it. it also keeps the glitter from scratching up your nails so much.

Does this mean what I think it means???
No, I wish. This was a "Dr. Appt" that you tell your boss you're going to when you have some other type of appointment you don't want them to know about.
I was planning on removing them myself once I get some time one night this week. I'm hoping it won't be too bad.
Oh, boo - well hopefully soooooon.

I don't know if all glitter polishes will do this, but I just managed to peel off 99% of the polish sitting here at my desk
It popped off my nails like Lee Press-Ons.
that happens to me sometimes too...super fun

The foil trick helped with removing the gel polish. At first, it didn't look like it had done anything, since hardly anything came off on the cotton. Then I found I could just scratch it off with my nail and it all flaked off. I was worried it would really damage my nails, but it's not so bad.
I loved the gel polish though. I'll definitely get it done again before any big vacation or special event. I seem to always screw up a fresh manicure as soon as I leave the salon and walking out with them perfectly dry and usable was awesome. They looked great for nearly 2 weeks and didn't look bad from nail growth until week 3.
