Can I have a little visa rant?
I'm sure some of you can sympathise...my visa is up for renewal and it is such a PITA!
My company switched to an LLP this year so I have 2 different payslips, as I'm paid through the company and also the LLP. But I only have payslips for the company, then a hypothetical one for my total salary. So they don't match my bank statements. My boss is like, I'll just write a letter, it's fine!! NO, it's not. UKBA don't have 50 pages of guidelines for no reason!!!
Then we switched accountants, and for the last few months our payslips having been coming via email pdf. They don't official do ones. Brill.
I just want to scream!! And I'm even more annoyed as I'll only be using this visa for 4 months. I wish I had more saved up now as this is just so not worth it. And I'm trying to make it speedy as I'm planning to travel at the end of March - but worried I won't have my passport back in time!
Ok rant over. If you can send any good visa vibes my way, it would be much appreciated!

Sorry, that's really frustrating. I know that since H's payslips are electronic he had to have payroll print them and stamp them. I don't know if that's helpful or not. Sending good visa vibes!
yes, we've just ordered a company stamp! How archaic these things are!!
But the LLP thing is really throwing me. ARGH!
Ugh! I'm dreading my next visa renewal, because the company has taken care of them up to now. And now I have to do it myself. Blech.

Her current visa expires before she moves home so she has to renew it.
Visas are such a pita. I can't imagine dealing with all of it for just 4 months, I would totally have given up long ago! We're about to start our citizenship paperwork and it just makes me very tired - the leave to remain last year was so tedious.
