OOT-er needs suggestions
I'm headed to Philly this weekend for the first time. I'm looking for a restaurant downtown that can host a large group (about 15), preferably without having to order off of a special menu. I'm open to any style of food, a nice place, but not crazy expensive.

I don't know where you will be located for the day (assuming it's for work), but Parc might be a good option. It's on Rittenhouse Square. I'm not sure if they do big groups but I think they could. http://parc-restaurant.com/
Triumph is a brewery in Old City -- they do groups. Their food is nicer than "pub food."

My only thing with Parc is that it's so freaking LOUD - with a table of 15 there's no way that conversation would be heard by the entire table - in other words you'd likely wind up in a bunch of small conversations which may be bad if it's a business dinner (or maybe not if you can sit all the boring people away from you, lol).
