happy tuesday!!
i'm still sick (ick!), but i'm back at work. i can't keeeeeeep taking days off of work. i'm pretty sure this has migrated to a sinus infection..should've asked my doc about it yesterday, but didn't. ugh! now i might need to pay a copay to get some antibiotics.
i left my cellphone at home today. and that's painful.
today needs to go by fast.

I'm not feeling very well today either. The glands or whatever around my left ear are super inflamed and it makes my ear hurt. And my eye is all red too.
I'd leave work early but I have a class to teach and we've already reschedule once because of the snow.
I hope everyone's day is better than mine!

I loved how gorgeous and sunny it was yesterday. It was still freezing cold, but so nice. I got in a run of ~3 miles after work yesterday. First real run in a couple of weeks (thank you sickness and snow) but it felt good. I skipped the class I usually go to on Monday nights in favor of dinner with H and an early bedtime. I feel a lot better today.
I don't usually go to Starbucks in the morning, but my coworker wanted to walk over and she's been out all week and I wanted to catch up so I tagged along. I ordered a grande americano and they gave me a venti. If that doesn't make me super productive today I don't know what will.

no joke, I totally cured my sinus infection 2 weeks ago using the neti pot. besides the fact that it feels good, there was a study showing it can be as effective as meds. Just a thought
(btw, for anyone wondering, I'm NOT anti meds, I'm very pro meds in fact. I just hate Abx because I always have to also deal with yeast infection/take meds for that as well. Plus, I hate paying the copay and waiting at the world's worst pharmacy. And the neti pot is just awesome)

i'm sooo tired this morning but the scale down some more this morning so i feel good about that!
last night i tossed and turned from about 8-930.. went and watched tv until 11.. then couldn't sleep until probably 1145? woke up around 130 when H went to the gym.. he goes before work and works at 330. crazy huh? anyway, it was a crazy night/morning and i definitely didn't want to get out of bed.
at work now and can't wait until it's over.
I know I know. But I mean, you're going to give birth to a baby, isn't that more terrifying?!
Seriously though, if you try it, you'll be hooked because you feel SO good when you use it even for a cold. Like, you can breath. Also, this is all coming from someone who is not a strong swimmer and doesn't like getting water up her nose, I promise it doesn't hurt or feel bad like that. It just feels a little weird and as long as you keep your head tilted as far forward (almost upside down) as you can, it will be awesome.

Good morning.
Nothing special going on today. I have hair color on right now (the grays were seriously getting out of control). After that, chores, some exercise and start dinner. The amazing adventures of a SAHM.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
no. the netipot is scarier. i'd rather squeeze a watermelon out of a lemon than purposely try to drown myself. (i'm also not a strong swimmer).

seriously, I still hold my nose to go underwater 
(at least initially, then I let go) the benefits totally outweigh whatever you think is scary about it

Oh, sorry you're still not feeling well! Yes, go to the doctor and get some antibiotics. Sounds like you need them. Don't worry, there are plenty out there that are pg-safe!
I'm at home sick today - I have a raging cold/cough. But this means I get to have M at home with me - yay!
Also? I just took a 3 hour nap. Man, did I need that.

I, too, am afraid of neti pots... but i'm kind of a bad hippie if i don't try one, right? I'm also terrified of child birth and surgery so there's that... i'm kind of a scaredy cat.
I hope everyone feels better soon!
The gym is usually nearly empty when i go, or there are a couple middle aged women and one or two older guys. But yesterday it was *packed* with 17-35 yo boys/men and i couldn't rotate through the weight machines (alternating legs/arms) or use the treadmill i always use (which is fine, but i don't think they are well-calibrated and i like to be able to compare how i am doing with how i usually do). I still got in a good workout, just not the usual, and i did speedwork instead of running 2.5ish mi, which was good. Based on how my muscles feel today it's good that i mixed things up.
I'm working from home now and then head to work this evening. Same thing all week.
