Is your weather crazy?

It's almost 65 outside and a beautiful day. I'm excited to get a run in after work today. It's weird to have these kinds of temps in January, even in NC. What's happening w/ your weather? Is it warmer than normal?

Re: Is your weather crazy?

  • Yes.

It was 42 when I woke up at 5:00 a.m. yesterday and it was raining.  Went down to low 20's by afternoon and started to flurry.  Woke up this morning and it was 29 and it's supposed to be in the low 40's again by tomorrow.

Over the weekend we had the teens but the week before it was mid 40's.

    Weird weather.

A few years ago (maybe 3 now) we had mid/upper 60's in Wisconsin in early January and had a tornado come through.  That was really strange.

  • I think it's like 45 today. It's a nice change from 15.

  • Near Toronto

It's way warmer than usual, today was minus 3 degrees when I left for work. (so like 26 F)

Although right now it looks colder, it's snowing but because it's not really very cold it's all mush. Yuck.

  • It is gorgeous outside. It's somewhere near 50 and sunny. I wish it was like this all winter long.

  • Aside from the crazy snow and then ice storm that knocked out power to 300,000 homes & businesses last week it's been pretty normal; 40s, cloudy and rainy.
  • Yes! We've been in the 80s in the past week.

  • Our weather has been as BSC as the Bump. It's in the 50s right now (and was probably 60 earlier). But last week we got 10" of snow and temps were around 0.

Yes! We had snow on Saturday.

I prefer it this way, but not the up and down- too many tornadoes.

Agreed. I love these temps, but not the up and down!

  • It was in the 30's-50's last week until about Friday, when it hit mid to upper 70s and stayed there until today...when the torrential rain came through and now it's about 55-60.

Southern Louisiana weather is more moody than a PMSing teenage girl.

Yup. It started raining at about 10am, It had stopped by 330.  Next week, it will be freezing and the week after it may be tropically warm.  If we get into the apartment complex we're hoping for, I expect to see my husband swimming, in the pool in March.

  • We live in a Philadelphia suburb and our high today was 60!  It was raining this morning but very warm; now that it's sunny outside, it seems to be cooling off a bit (go figure!).  I think the weekend is supposed to be in the 50s, then back down to the 30s again on Monday.
    Anniversary
