I'm surprised no one else posted this.
I didn't laugh much during this episode. I thought the stapler in the meatball was pretty funny, but only because it was a throwback to the pilot episode with the stapler in jello.
I really wanted it to be funnier than it was. Now, Parks & Rec, on the other hand, had me laughing!

DH, BIL and I all thought that this episode was super funny!!! I thought it was funny to see Dwight flirt along with Erin.
But I defiantly liked Parks and Rec better, Paul Rudd was on!!!!!! He's my favorite!
Agreed. He's not the only thing wrong with the show, but he makes me want to change the channel immediately.

I agree, Robert California is terrible. His character just drags the whole show down, instead of adding a little bit of odd humor, like I think they intended.
I didn't realize that about the writers leaving to create Parks & Rec! Interesting.
I thought it was SUCH an awkward episode. I'm REALLY starting to hate Ryan. He's just so annoying and immature.
I love James Spader, but I agree with many of you in that it makes the show even more awkward than before.

Hmmm I thought that episode was hilarious!
I was so annoyed with Andy though. Why not just come clean about the ring? I know, because that wouldn't make for good TV. Dwight and Erin were hysterical together!
I do agree. I miss Michael Scott.
I get what you mean about a funny drama. How Monk was considered a comedy, though it was obviously not laugh out loud funny. It's become a lot of of super awkward situations that end up making me laugh. It's not as funny as before, but I'm still enjoying it. Like Dwight and Erin together, and Jim trying to get Stanley to laugh at his hijinks with the whole meatball plot.
I wonder how long Pam will be out on maternity leave.
