Update on my mom
She has an appointment this afternoon at Oregon Health Sciences U. The doctors apparently feel very confident that they can remove the entire tumor and her breastbone and give her an artificial breastbone ( ! ) relatively easily and without any foreseen complications. I'd still like her to get a second opinion (and the work done) by our SCCA up here, but in reality, having the procedure done in Portland is probably better for her. She can stay at my brother's house and then she's only 4-5 hours from home rather than the 8 hr trip she would have if she were up here.

This is great news!
Can she get new bewbies while they're in there? I knew someone who was getting a tumor removed in her breasts and they just went in and gave her implants while they were in there.
I believe this is called being efficient
