Job Help

So I am going to start applying for a new job to start when I am done with school.  C really likes where he is working and wants to get some more experience under his belt, so I am applying to towns close to where he is working.

I was wondering if it would be to soon to apply for jobs that I can't start until the end of April.  Most of the jobs that I am applying for are with the state and they are 'open until filled.'

TIA

Re: Job Help

  • I'd say more than two months in advance would be pushing it based on my experience.  However, I don't think it would hurt to send in a resume as long as you clearly state your available start date so the employer is aware that you're applying in advance.

    Now jumping domestically.

Well that was a crazy couple of years.

That's what I was thinking.  I guess I just have to keep my fingers crossed that they are still open in March.
