lubrication products ?

My body just doesn't seem to produce enough so I'm going for some product assistance.

Any product recommendations to try or avoid?

Re: lubrication products ?

  • We use the WET Light.
  • Jo H2o is what I have found to work the best.  It's non sticky, it lasts and washes off with water. It's also condom compatible.

www.systemjo.com is where you can find it online. I used to buy mine in adult stores before they stopped carrying it. :(

I would avoid flavored lubes. They taste funny and are really sticky. They're best for pleasing the guy.

  • I prefer Pre-seed.  It's conception friendly, but that's not why I use it.  I use it because I don't like a lot of synthetic stuff (I have very sensitive skin), and this product has the same pH as the lubricant your body produces (or at least that's what they claim).  It's also the perfect consistency.  I love it and highly recommend it.  You can buy it at CVS and probably any other drug store.

  • I work in an adult toy store and Sliquid and Liquid Silk are our two best selling brands.

Sliquid has vegan ingredients and is a plant cellulose, water based lube. Many customers come in telling us their ob-gyns recommended it. It's not sticky at all and washes away easily. Sliquid also makes a few organic lubes.

Liquid Silk is a silicone-water based hybrid lube. It has just enough silicone to give you the benefits of silicone (longer lasting, don't need as much, smooth, non-sticky feeling) but not enough to damage silicone toys. It washes away with just water and has a quite lotion-y texture.

Both of these brands are higher end and cost more than KY or Astroglide. But it's just like any beauty product: you get what you pay for. These lubes don't have a ton of fillers like cheaper brands and a little bit goes a long way. I know I'd rather pay $22 for a 4 oz bottle that will last 3 months, than pay $10 for a same size bottle that lasts a month.
