Anyone on Pinterest?
I keep browsing it but I am reluctant to sign up for another internet fad shall be call it. Can someone break it down for me. Is it worth signing up for? Will I able to see the recipies/links people post their stuff from?

It's kind of like an online folder of things you love, like, aspire to be, want to try, whatever. When people pin an image, they're supposed to pin from the original site, but that doesn't always happen which means you may or may not get to recipe you see a pic for. Sometimes links break or die, and that will cause users to not find what they're looking for.
For the most part, when I repin, I try to check the link of what I'm pinning. This helps me know that I really know what I'm pinning if it's a recipe or something. The other good thing about that is that if you check it and it takes you to the right source, you may learn that how that pic has been tagged is completely wrong/off and you can start from scratch on your label.
Rereading what I just typed makes me think I'm drunk, but I'm not! I hope this makes since. You should sign on. It's wonderful.

I'm there. So many of our remodel projects are huge and expensive, I like looking for little ways to cheer the house up while we save for them.
I'm on it and it's really helpful for me to -- recipes, decorating, and costuming ideas for my show.
I also use a lot of free time on it -- crafts I'll probably never do, dance photos, etc... but looking at beautiful/inspiring things isn't a total waste of time at least.

Millie, if you see the long weird name that repinned your halloween lights, that's me.
I think it's hit the tipping point past fad. I got on it about a year ago when it first kicked off, and in the last few months, it has completely blown up. So many of my friends are on it.
Also, it's a ridiculously addictive time-suck, so I try to limit myself to just a few minutes a day. :-) I pin everything from recipe ideas to vacation spots to home decorating inspiration.
