So my aunt owns her own salon, and she is charging WAYYY too low to do bridal hair, in my opinion.  To convince her, I am going to do a poll.  I know that we're from all over the place, but I'm doing it anyway.  So... if you did this, how much was your:

-Bridal hair?

-Was the trial included in the price?

-Bridesmaids hair?

-Mom's hair?

-Travel fee if she came to you?

    My hair and makeup together was $75, so I'm not sure what it was separate 

    -Was the trial included in the price?

    The trial was not included.  I paid the $75 for the trial and then again the day of 

    -Bridesmaids hair?

    Their hair was $35 

    -Mom's hair?

    Her's was $30 

    -Travel fee if she came to you?

    Not available

    -Was the trial included in the price? Yes

    -Bridesmaids hair? 50$ up

    -Mom's hair? 25$-50$

    -Travel fee if she came to you? There wasn't for me because we were right down the road but I didn't ask about if there is one normally.

     I think it was like $70, but I gave her $100.

    -Was the trial included in the price?
    No. I had two trials-- $50 each (I think).

    -Bridesmaids hair?
    I want to say $45-$60.

    -Mom's hair?
    Didn't get her hair done.

    -Travel fee if she came to you?
    No travel fee. I tipped well and so did my bridesmaids.

    I paid $500.  That included:

    One (AMAZING) person that did both my hair and makeup.  

    Trials for both a few weeks before the wedding.  

    Travel to our venue.  

     

    Worth every penny.

    -Travel fee if she came to you? She did, but there was no extra fee.

    -Was the trial included in the price? I don't know, we didn't negotiate that, but I would assume no

    -Bridesmaids hair? $40 or $28 depending on the style

    -Mom's hair?  $28

    -Travel fee if she came to you? standard mileage rate.

    I will say that what I pay my stylist and what she charges me are two different things.  I think that her standard rates are $40/updo and $28 for 'curling' or a simple updo

    My stylist did my hair and 5 bridesmaids and traveled to my venue, but she is also a good friend from high school and she blocked out the whole day to do my wedding, so I gave her $300

    If I remember correctly, my lady charged $100/hour for hair and makeup and included in that price a hair and makeup trial plus travel within 15 miles of her home.  I think my hair took about 40 minutes.  She did my hair and three other girls' hair, plus my makeup and I think it took 3-4 hours?

    -Travel fee if she came to you?  We went to the salon, so no travel fee for us.

    I paid $100 each for me, my mom, and my bridesmaids. I think that was broken into $40 for hair, $50 for makeup, and $10 for eyelashes. A trial was not included and was the same price. No travel fee in the New Orleans Metro area, but a $50 travel fee for outside Nola.

    My hair was crazy expensive since the lady who did it didn't normally travel. I think it was $275. Makeup was $100 and included airbrush and eyelashes. Bridesmaids and mothers were $60-75. The travel fee was $50 and parking was extra.

    I am no help, mine was free. lol  But when I was looking most of the prices I saw were between $300 and $500 for the bride's hair and makeup.

    I paid $200

    -Was the trial included in the price?

    No. I paid $75 for two trial dos (they took about 2 hours ish)

    -Bridesmaids hair?

    I didn't get this done but they offered me a price of $75 for each additional bridesmaid on top of my price

    -Mom's hair?

    Same for this, $75

    -Travel fee if she came to you?

    No travel fee, it was included.

    -Was the trial included in the price? No, I also paid $60 for my trial

    -Bridesmaids hair? $50 (same as a regular updo)

    -Mom's hair? she got hers done by her regular hairstylist, I dont know how much she paid.

    -Travel fee if she came to you? They charged us an exta fee per person because they all had to take the day off work and cancel their regular Saturday appointments to come to my parents' house.

    -Was the trial included in the price? No the trail was $60 for hair and make up and I did 2 make up trials (she didn't charge for the second) 

    -Bridesmaids hair? $50 for Hair and $50 for Make up (none of my girls had their make up done though)

    -Mom's hair?  $50 - same as Bridesmaids

    - Flower Girl was $35 for hair

    -Travel fee if she came to you? No travel fee for within 25 miles so I had no fee

    I believe my hair was $150 and that included one trial and her travel (15 miles) to the venue. I had shoulder length hair at the time. She charged $45 per bridesmaid and did simple curl half up dos in their hair. She also did my makeup and charged $85 for that, included one trial run.

    $85 for trial and $85 for the wedding day.  I went there, and I was the only one who got my hair done.

    -Bridesmaids hair? They did their own

    -Mom's hair? $20 blow-out/style

    -Travel fee if she came to you? $25 (normally $50, but we were like 2 miles from her house...lol)

    I went to a girl who is a friend of my family, so she didn't charge me.  But I do know her bridal prices.

     

    Bridal- 50-80 trial included

    Bridesmaids 35-50

    Mom- same as bridesmaids (but mom's was free too)

    Didn't travel to me.
