QOTD: Something(s) I like about 2012 so far is/are...?
I need some positive things to read today!
My answer....
...I have a new schedule this semester and actually have lunch with some of my friends now.
...Wes has been happy, happy, happy the last few days now that his ear infection seems to be gone.
...today was a 2 hour late start at school, the first weather-related delay/cancellation of the year! It made for an easy Monday.
Okay, your turn!

First of all, your siggy pic is adorable!
I could focus on all the little things that have been going wrong lately but you want positive stories.
I'm happy that I'm back on track after the holiday eating binge- just did measurements with my trainer and lost inches in my hips/waist and am down 6 lbs. That made me smile.
My toddler is making me laugh hysterically on a daily basis- oh the things she says and does...that makes me smile.
And finally- family/friends are healthy and happy and I'm very blessed to have them in my life.
this is a nice poll. buzz, yours especially made me smile, b/c it makes me happy for you, I can somewhat relate, and it gives me promise.
Our girls are getting to be more independent ages, and they are so much fun and do have lots of fun together.
We just got a "new" (to us) car for adam today, a G35 for his 35th birthday.
We were able to pay with cash after our trade, which was a really nice feeling since we usually do car loans and I really don't like to borrow money for a car.
I can't say yet my biggest excitment of 2012, but it involves a pregnancy that is not my own.
I'm getting back on track with healthier eating and fitness. I'm far from perfect or even close, but it's a great start.
My H bought me an hour-long sugar massage because of the above.
Little one is learning new things every day and is so much fun to watch.
this is great!
So far I'm hooked on Ferrell's, and as my close friends know; I don't shut up about it. It's really making me a more confidant person, and that's helping with my personal relationships.
H and I feel like we're finally in a place where we can get our house sold, and are really positive about it. (our neighbour's house sold in less than a month!)
Ella is growing and making us laugh daily. I just love watching how indenpent she is. It helps in knowing she'll be a great only child!
One thing I'm excited about (and alittle nervous!) is that Dh and I are having a date night Friday; and are staying in a hotel! (Let operation baby 2.0 begin ;-))
We also have an awards dinner on Friday night for DH's work. DH is getting 3 awards and I couldn't be more proud of him. He's come a long way in the last 14months of this new job!
Plus (knock on wood) Gianna is getting really easy. I hope she's through her naughty stage. She's a very good listener and is starting to be independent. This is definitely an awesome new stage for us!
What a great post!
1. G officially "graduated" from Speech Therapy this week! She has come a long way - and this has been such a journey. She now speaks arounf 5-7 word sentences, which is a long way from the 2 words she spoke last July!
2. We finished our basement and (brag) have received nothing but compliments about our style and decorating choices. The best part - a dedicated playroom for the kids. Them having their own space has provided a new sanity level for DH and I. Seems minimal, but it's made our lives so much easier/better!
3. Our kids are continuing to love daycare and are becoming easier. While still a challenge at times, those challenges are getting fewer and farther between.
4. We went to the Science Center on Saturday and were FINALLY the parents whose toddlers did NOT have a melt-down. It was AMAZING!
Thanks. My photographer is always doing awesome specials- a blessing and a curse.
Love all these happy stories!
I'm officially part time at work (two 12 hour shifts/weekend). This means more time with DH and the kids on the weekends!
My baby is turning 1 this week and really coming into her own little personality. I'm so excited to see what kind of little person she'll be.
Excited to be trying for #3 this year!
