My husband has been looking for a new job for awhile now because his current position requires him to travel about 90% of the time. He finally decided to put job hunting on hold while we built our home. He just got called for an interview with a company and it seems very promising. His base salary will be more than his current base salary and the new position is with a Fortune 500 company (current one is at a 10 person office - if that matters.) If offered the position, he would start sometime in February (probably) and the closing won't be until the middle of June. How bad do you think will this hurt us with our loan approval? If offered the job, he would take it regardless of the house. It's that important that he will actually be home.
