I need inspiration re: Big Bro shirt
I'm making my own, obviously, but I need help deciding on a fabric for the letters. Something boyish, a kind of small print (going on a size 5T shirt). Any suggestions? I'm not super picky on price since I'm going to keep this shirt foreva (no really, I will) but I'd like to keep it under $9/yard (I won't need more than quarter of a yard, half at most if that's the smallest I can buy it). Not sure what color shirt it's going to go on since shirts without pockets for little boys that aren't plastered with cars are kind of hard to find (pockets are no match for me), so I'm not limited to any color pallette.
I didn't realize how HARD it would be to pick out this fabric. I've looked in my stash and on etsy for a few days and I still can't make a decision.

Oh I know, those pockets are no match for me and my seam ripper. I just have a hard time finding ANY shirts without graphics on them already. Wal-Mart is usually hit or miss and they're remodeling the closest Target, so I'm avoiding that place. Thank goodness I'm going to the city this Friday!

The best place I've found for them is Michaels. They have plain colors, and I don't think there are any pockets.
But how small do they go? I can get one at Wal-Mart for $3.88 and take a pocket off. It's sad, to a point I'm too lazy and then, I'm too cheap. I'd rather save $2 and take a pocket off lol.
