Once in a while I tell people this because there always seem to be a
few people who don't know
If you go down to the bottom of the page
under the list of posts, there is an area where you can change your
settings. The way the Nest/Bump is set by default is, frankly, kinda
stupid and not the way most message boards work.
Many people (like me) find they prefer to change it so that the posts are sorted by which one has the most recent replies (as opposed to sorting by the original post date) and/or to have it hide posts you've read, rather than showing all the posts.
If you set it to hide topics you've
read, don't worry--it doesn't mean that thread will be gone forever. As
soon as there's a new reply to that topic, it will appear back at the
top of the list. ![]()

I never knew that either! I did think it was weird the way it was set up and had never come across a board set that way before.
