Dress me
BIL is getting married this weekend. I am wearing this dress (in black).
I wasn't going to wear anything on my legs because I'm not a big hose or tights fan, but it's going to be like 32* and windy. So, I'm reconsidering.
What would you wear with this? Tights? Hose? What shoes? Jewelry? How would you do your hair? Etc. LIPs and PIPs for bonus points.

I would do nude hose and a closed toe pump. I don't like that dress (esp. in black) with tights, you'll be inside, so I'd just rely on a nice dress coat for the time you are transporting yourself outside.
Hair, I would do a side, messy bun - like this. It's a really simple style. Curl your hair all over, apply a little hair spray, then use bobby pins to gather hair int a half pony (with a little volume), after that, use bobby pins to gather your hair to one side, high, just behind your ear. Finish by using bobby pins to pin the ends of your curls randomly into place.
I would do patterned tights. What about these from Loft or maybe these from BR? I would stick w/ a solid shoe if you do patterened tights and you could do the shoe in a fun color.
I would wear black hose or tights and black heels.
Also, I'd probably add a cropped black cardigan or bolero.
I would do:
-dress, tights with a pattern and color you love, plain black heels... this would be really fun and fashion-forward if you can find the right tights.
-dress, opaque black tights, colorful shoes like leopard or red, matching clutch & jewelry... it's classic with a twist and is usually my go-to option.
-dress, black tights, and black heels would be classic, streamlined and slimming.
Don't worry, tights will look great with this dress!
I am 100% in agreement with Star's idea. Love the black on black with some fun and colorful shoes and accessories! I also agree with the opaque black tights or one with a fun pattern in black.
