Hi Ladies, a MD newbie here

Hi there :)

Thought I'd introduce myself. I was so happy my best friend recommended coming back to the nest and visiting the MD board. It's been a while since I was active on the nest boards but being that we are moving I figure this is a great place to be. My husband and I and our two little girls (4 & 2) are moving to MD. The hubs works at APG. While we're not down yet, as soon as our house is sold we will be! We've only been on the market 2.5 (loooong lol) weeks but I sincerely hope by summer we are out of here. He's currently there 2-4 days a week so we look so forward to the move.

We'll likely rent in Harford county until we decide where we want to buy. Hoping to rent a small single family home or townhouse. I signed our oldest up for pre-K at Tiny Tot in Bel Air. I started looking at preschools and quickly found that many were full for next year so we went and visited Tiny Tot last week and got her a spot.

Any tips on how to meet other sahms or play places, play groups, Moms group etc would be great. I took the girls to Storyville at the library when we went for a week with my husband. Adorable place!! And we've gotten some recommendations on school districts etc but any info is appreciated.

Looking fwd to hanging here :)
