First they were engaged, then they broke up, now they're back together...and expecting? I wonder if they'll even stay together for the length of her pregnancy.

I was thinking it was probably why they got engaged again. Assuming she is about 12 weeks along - when most people announce - the timing is right for that. Good luck to them; experiencing a newborn is hard enough with a solid relationship foundation.
Definitely not. All I can think of is her Laguna Beach days and The Hills. I'm sure she's grown up but...a mom? No.

She's not really the mothering type, but who knows? Maybe she'll surprise us. It will probably be a reality show anyway so we'll get to find out!
This was my first thought when I heard the news. Either way, congrats to them.
They got back together in November, and if she got pg then, she would only be 2 months along and not announcing it. If she got pregnant in September, when they broke up, she would have found out in November-ish (which is when/why they got back together) and is announcing now that she's 4 months.

I think it was July that they broke up. The USA article says that when she started Dancing with the Stars in Sept they were broken up. Not that they broke up in Sept. I think it was worded poorly but they definitely broke up several months before she started Dancing with the Stars.
I actually kind of thought they were a cute couple, and was a bit disappointed when they called off the engagement.
That being said, my first thought was that she got pregnant on purpose so that he'd marry her.

Eh...it's been a long time since her Laguna Beach days. I'm the same age as her, and I know that I'm definitely a lot different than I was in high school or even my early 20's. I'm sure most people didn't think Nicole Richie would be a good mom either when she got pregnant, but look at her now! I think it will be good for her.
Either she is announcing really early or they were knockin boots while broken up.
A radio station here in Chicago did a poll and 90% of listeners thought Kristin got pregnant on purpose. Don't think it was an accurate poll but think a lot of people around here think that.
