As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Z had his surgery yesterday
We arrived around 9am for what was suppose to be a 10:30/11am case. They took him back a little after 10 and started the surgery a little after 11. They had only allotted an hour for his surgery, once they got in it became more compliated and they didn't finish his surgery until 2:30pm. They said his arm was extremely bruised and the break was pretty bad. Also had to work around a nerve that opporates your grasp. All of the other cases for this doctor got pushed behind schedule. I was suppose to go back to work yesterday afternoon once I took him home but we didn't leave out of there until almost 3:30. Luckily my work has been very supportive and allowed me the time off. I checked on him today and he's doing well but in a lot of pain. They had given him a nerve block for the surgery which was still there when we left and I guess it had worn off sometime overnight. He said he was up half the night in pain. Hopefully by this weekend he'll start feeling better with less pain.
