What are your plans for Valentines Day?

We usually don't do much to celebrate but this year our Church is doing a Valentine's day dinner outing but DH will be out of town that day
I'll probably go without him.
Nothing, but then again, we've never celebrated Valentines Day. Hohum just call us Mr&Mrs Unromantic.
Yum! I cooked steak for Dh last year... it was good!

It's a Tuesday so I won't be home until 9ish. And DH may or may not be working until 10ish. And because his work sucks they haven't determined if he's leaving on the 15th or not...
So... basically, nothing. I don't really like Valentine's day though. And I especially don't like flowers on Valentine's day! (I love surprise/out of the blue/"just because" flowers. Not expected because of a Hallmark holiday)
We haven't planned a SINGLE thing. I know he wanted to do something special for our 3 month (I know silly yet cute right?) but we will be in Chicago for a family event. The antithesis of romantic if you ask me
So I am hoping he will push whatever thing he had planned back for Valentine's Day, but we will see!
Let's see. Valentine's Day is on a Tuesday, so my guess would be "A whole lot of nothing". My personal plans for the day will entail trying not to get thrown up on.
In all honesty, I'll probably make dinner and maybe make it something a little more special that I don't make often. I'll make sandwiches in the shape of hearts for Emma. We do have a gift certificate that we should use, but I can't imagine we'll use it on that night or even the weekends surrounding the date just because places will be nuts.
Nothing, I doubt DH will be home that week (he usually leaves Mon. night).
Maybe I'll make a heart shaped pizza & cookie w/the kids for our dinner.
Otherwise, it's just a regular Tues. for me.
IHATETHIS.
I remember one year I forgot it was Valentine's day and went to grab take-out for lunch and it was like, a forever long wait and I felt awkward standing alone. (Then again, I forget about crowded malls in December and I get thrown off by lack of parking spaces...)
We usually don't celebrate it, sometimes I'll get flowers and a card, sometimes I don't get anything. I probably won't see him that day because of our work schedules. I'll get him a card from me & DD and some candy, but that's about it.
We were in St. Lucia for Valentine's Day a few years ago, I doubt any Valentine's Day will ever top that
I like the idea of heart shaped pizzas and will probably do something like that too.
I already got a Valentine's card for my birthday (silly dh "didn't realize it was a V-day card"??
Getting back to it- my diet and exercise blog
