Any good news today???? I need some happy news. I think the post office lost my birthday present.

They couldnt locate it today when I went to pick it up today. Hopefully, they can find it soon.
Re: Good News Wednesday!!!
Oh no! I hope they find it!
I'm actually having a good week! Monday we finally (after a year of looking) found a flat that we really like. Still renting but it's so much nicer than our current place. Right up the street (and we love our neighbourhood) but it's a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom new build flat with a DISHWASHER! I'm jealous of my future life there and can't wait to move. The timing is a bit amusing - we'll have to move mid-week as we're travelling both weekends around the dates but that's fine.
Also, I went to the gym and finally, finally was able to run a 5k on the treadmill for the first time since everything happened last year (I was injured in my D&C surgery). It really felt like I was getting a brand new slate!
BFP Apr 2012, EDD Dec 19 2012 * twin h/b at 6wk, 9wk scan * Baby A lost at 12wks, Baby B was my rainbow born at 36wks
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
My work schedule will be cut back to 3 days a week for half of the year. I am thrilled! I have been leaving early and getting back late and am tired all the time. This weekend we are going to London! I'm psyched
Also, I'm making veggie burgers tonight and the prospect makes me pretty happy. AND my best friend who is going through a divorce seems to be thriving. She is getting her new apartment this weekend, making new friends, and really experiencing life. I know she has a lot of hurt to deal with, but she is really putting herself out there and seeing how much more there is to life! I'm so happy for her
I've been really crabby with DH since last week. I'm stressed about working full time again so I'm too nervous to sit and cuddle and I get really short with him all the time. We've been losing quality time together since I go into work early in the morning and he works until late at night. Our paths don't cross much.
BUT
This morning he woke up before I left the house and I said I wanted to meet during out lunch breaks (we work on the same campus). I think just the acknowledgement that I miss him made a difference. We met today just briefly, and didn't even talk about much, but it felt lighter and more relaxed than usual. It was nice.
I have really good news! I got the all clear on my removed mole! The consultant gave me some fancy term for it but it boils down to it being a flat mole that got inflamed for some unknown reason... nothing at all to worry about!
YAY!!!!
That's great news Irish! I'm really happy for you!
One of mine and DH's best friends is coming Friday night to stay with us for 10days!
Nice post! Great news, Irish and Good luck, MCC.
I *think*/hope/pray the strikes in Italy are chilling out. I know this is completely flameworthy, but I, selfishly, would like things to go back to normal so that H and I can escape up to Rome. We almost never stay a splurgey hotels and we totally splurged this time, so I'd really like to be able to go.
If you don't think I'm THAT bad, full disclosure, Lucy gets to go here: http://www.romecavalieri.com/pamperedpets.php
Yes, wanting a strike to end for my dog's beauty is messed up. I know. But people, come on, she deserves a break-- she was abused as a puppy (seriously). AND my H has tix to for a closing exhibit and I'd really like him to be able to make it. I know, digging the hole deeper.
