Laurel Park Place- Wed AM
I'm taking my boys to Laurel Park Place Wednesday morning around 10 to play at the play place thing. Just wanted to throw it out there in case anyone is free and wants to bring their kids too!

How do you get your kids to sleep past 7? PLEASE SHARE YOUR WISDOM!
It was crowded and there were two kids that were a bit bully-ish.

Losing it...Without Losing it
They don't go to bed until 9:30/10ish. I'm trying to get them to bed earlier, but usually we Skype w/DH around 9pm, so that makes it harder.
Sorry that it was crowded, that makes it worse, since it's a small area to begin with. Where the 2 bully-ish kids older? I hate when the parents let their older kids run wild in those things. There's a height limit for a reason, so us w/young kids don't have to worry about them getting hurt. If you have to bring them because you have a young kid as well, then you better teach them how to behave then!
Tyler goes upstairs anywhere between 8:30 and 9 but I swear he's a night owl and will come out of his room multiple times if he doesn't have something great to earn or has taken a nap. He still gets up early. Grrr... I'm considering trying to phase out naps, but darn it I need that time!
The kids were similar ages to Tyler I think. They just didn't play very nice. One of the kids was part of a play group that was there. I had considered asking one of the moms what play group and if they were on Meetup.com or where to join. They were all pretty nice. But that kid ruined it for us- I don't want to keep running into him at the play dates, ya know? Oh well....

Kaitlyn is hit or miss w/naps, but even if she doesn't nap, she does great by herself, so I can still get stuff done. She'll either play w/her Thomas trains in her room or play on the main floor, she doesn't need supervision, which is nice. She's been doing her V-tech letter writing learning thing alot, that keeps her busy for a long time!
