Hmm...I voted umbrella because then at least I'd get sun and rain protection and not have to wear an uncomfortable and stupid-looking bike helmet all the time (imagine getting dressed up and then having to put that on your head--maybe you could bedazzle it for special occasions).
I assume I could carry the umbrella closed though and not have to open it all the time.
But I do think it would look a little less stupid. Because, like you said, you can use to protect yourself from sun and run.
My grandmother used to carry an open umbrella anytime she was outside to shade her from the sun! She had no wrinkles!
I am a klutz and would opt for the helmet
I picked a helmet. Because I have to carry enough around with me as it is!
Um, yeah, I should read the "open umbrella" part of the poll
That makes it more difficult because then one hand would always be occupied with the umbrella, or I'd have to balance it awkwardly between my shoulder and head to use both hands. I think I voted wrong.
