"Anonymous" surveys at work
How bad is it to be really honest? Our division at work is in the middle of a badly needed complete review, and this is how they are soliciting opinions regarding the "behaviors" of the personnel.

It depends on the survey. My old company used to have a third party company do it and I felt more comfortable, esp since it was multiple choice. I was part of the committee that reviewed Survey Monkey ones for another place and can say that I could tell who most came from based on the way the results were presented.
I would say it is ok to be honest as long as you are tactful.
