Re: Otter
Thanks! We are in the waaaay early plans, as in we are choosing an agency, but it's time to get the ball rolling.
I won't lie...I'm so terrified! But we're ready
I hope so...I keep asking "am I ready for this, at 25 years old?"
But I've done a lot of praying and thinking and talking and in my heart I feel it's time.
To me, 25 is not *necessarily* young for a baby. Some people are definitely not ready to have a baby at 25. I don't count you among those.
Also, just the fact that adoption takes so much planning and thought, and that there is a screening process, makes it less of a snap decision with regrets later. It's not like your husband forgets to pull out one night, and BAM baby time.
I'm proud of you.
Thank you
