I guarantee that I'll be vacuuming more at the new house though because I'll want to make sure the carpet stays in good shape. Angel

I should vacumm a lot more then I do, especially since we have pets. I tried to do it at least 2 or 3 times a week. DD has learned to give me any hair bunnies that she finds in the corners.. Yes it is gross!!!

I think the defining factor here might be pets and kids.... (I could be completely wrong though) I have no pets or kids, I vacuum once a week... I feel pretty confident that if I had a pet (especially one that sheds) or kids, I would be vaccuming more often than that.

We have hardwood floors throughout our house, and a huge rug in the family room. We should vacuum the rug way more than we do though....

Absolutely! We have no pets or kids either.

We have hardwood floors downstairs with an area rug in the living and family room. Family room has to be vacuumed every other day if not everyday (no clue how it gets dirty so fast). Living room and upstairs, once a week, sometimes every other week.

Probably every other week w/the regular ole vacuum, but I use our Shark vacuum probably once a day/every other day in the dining area.

I should clarify. The living room is the main room that gets played in and that room I do vacuum more often. Emma is terrified of the vacuum though so it can be difficult at times. As far as bedrooms, hallways, random areas.... those are the ones that are a little more far and few between.

Please don't think I let my kids eat fuzzballs off the floor. lol Embarrassed

I vacuum the "high traffic" areas (living room, dining room, entryway, hallway) every Saturday. I confess I'd probably do it less often if we didn't have 2 black cats and light colored carpet. But the bedroom (we keep the cats out), office, kitchen and bathroom I vacuum/mop less often.

I voted every other week because it was the least often, lol. It's probably less often than that, and I usually just spot clean when it looks bad. I'm such a slacker!
