Plastic lid storage

I currently have a drawer dedicated to just plastic lids but it's way too full and it's driving me crazy. Other than throwing them away, does anyone have any suggestions on how to store or organize the lids?

Re: Plastic lid storage

  • If they don't have a bottom match - toss them.  There's no sense having an entire drawer full...that's just a waste of a drawer, ha.

I store all of my tupperware + matching lids in 2 baskets.  I can grab the entire basket out of the cabinet and grab whichever size I need & that way, they're altogether.

  • They all have matches.

I actually just found something on Pinterest where they used a dish drying rack to hold them.

  • I have this bowl. It came with a set of bowls on black Friday like 3 years ago. It was so big, and I never used it, I just started putting all of my lids in it. And they all fit.

  • Plastic storage containers and lids are one of those things that always seem to expand to fill the space you have. Cram them into a smaller space and you'll be forced to stack them neatly and get them all in there. It helps a lot if they are all from the same set so they'll stack better too. We have it all in one drawer and the lids are stacked next to the containers they go with.
