The Bachelor - Courtney - Am I the only one?
I cannot stand this chick.
Between the evil laugh and "see ya!" to Shawtel last week and the constant "Winning" this week, I am about ready to punch her through the tv!

This. I can't watch.
I can't stand her either. I think she's either completely crazy or a really good actress. And when I say crazy, I mean I really think she's mentally ill. Whenever she talks to other people, to Ben and to the camera, she says something different, but it's not like she's lying. It seems like she believes it.
And LOL at "I'm a nice person." Really? One moment she's all about how the other girls are bitches. Then she's a nice girl.
I think she is crazy too! I mean crazy as in she would and could hurt somebody one day.
Especially the look on her face when she said she would tear off Emily's head and verbally abuse her. It definitely seemed more sinister than verbal abuse.
I'm really glad Emily stayed.
I'm going to be in the minority here. I don't like her really...I find her annoying, but I think this is an extremely hard case of bad editing. I think she's ridiculously socially awkward. She even said (in a nice way) that she's used to being around guys but that being in a group of all women is very new and awkward to her. Ben did an interview and was asked about whether or not people are really how they are portrayed on camera and he mentioned that someone was getting a very inaccurate edit. I think this season is extremely boring and they're doing whatever they can to make someone the villain. I've also found it interesting to see how strongly blonde Casey was defending her and that she seemed to get along just fine w/sweet and normal Jennifer. Again, I'm not a fan of her, I just don't think she's as bad as they're trying to make her seem. This happens every season. There's a frontrunner who doesn't want to be part of the fake "we all love each other" sorority and the girls get vicious and jealous
I also completely jumped off team Emily. I liked her before...a lot, but good god she's a child. She's an idiot for even getting involved in it and then it seems like she keeps at it next week! Shut up and worry about you. She's being a drama queen. Also, if you're going to go tattle on people, have the balls to own up to it when you're confronted about it rather than playing all dumb and innocent. Be an adult and say, "Yes, I did say that. I don't like you. I don't trust you. This is why and yes, I told Ben."
ETA: I also don't recall where she's calling them all bitches. She said several times that someone is sweet or cute/pretty or cool, just that she's not worried about them because of the connection she has with Ben.
I have to roll my eyes* at the "I've only hung out with a lot of men" excuse. Everyone says that, and it's usually followed by "Girls just don't like me."
I can see that it could be a bad edit of someone who's socially awkward, but she's definitely giving them a lot of crazy to work with.
I think the Emily/Courtney feud will make this season less boring. Ben seems like a nice guy, but he's not TV entertaining.
*Not rolling them at you, but at Courtney and other women who say that. She made it pretty obvious in the beginning why she doesn't hang out with women.
ETA: I don't recall her specifically calling them bitches, but the way she acts towards them makes it seem like they're the bitches.
Haha. Totally agree with the bolded. I also don't really get how hard it is to at least seem pleasant around other women even if it isn't really your thing, but some people seem to have a problem with it. It always reminds me of the Michelle Money edit where it came out at The Women Tell All that a lot of girls really liked her and she wasn't at all like she seemed on the show. I just distrust this show. A lot. I'm certain that nothing is how it seems. Her questionable crazy/bitchiness aside, she's still pretty annoying. The weird lip thing makes her look like a really bad ventriloquist.
LOL. I think she might actually be the dummy.
I want to not watch the show because I believe it's fake, but I can't stop myself when I see the clips for the next week. Grr! I haven't watch Bachelor/Bachelorette for about a year and a half, but this season is dragging me in.
Yes! The cheek suck in and pursed lips drives me insane. It's like I can't look away from her mouth when she's on screen. I'm wondering if it's a model thing (trying to accentuate her cheekbones or something). It's so distracting though. And her eyes are kind of beady and watery. For some reason, that looks odd too. I think she's very awkward and just has a very childish personality.
I know Ben thinks Jennifer is a great kisser, but there's something very boring about her. I don't think they have any chemistry.
Oh, and Rachel on the date. I was shocked he gave her a rose. The conversations were so riveting and all. "That's a beaver damn." Squints. "Yes it is." ::headdesk::
But telling that one other crazy girl who I don't remember from the other episodes straight out that he had no feelings for her. Loved it!
Yes on both counts! The Rachel date is another thing that makes me think editing. For my sanity I need to believe that it's editing to make it look much more awkward and lame than it really is. It couldn't really be that bad & result in a rose, right? Right?? lol
That other chick was nuts...and who the hell is she? There was another girl at the end...I think Jamie, where I asked who she was as well. It always amazes me that at this point there are still people who I see and think, "Who is that?!"
DH and I (yes he watches with me for quality time) made the comment that she must have had a lot of Botox done!
I have to say, outside of crazy Courtney, my two favorites for the season so far are Kasey B. and Lindzi. I really like both of them.
Let's just assume editing for our sanity. It was pretty hilarious, but it also made me feel awkward watching that. I think I actually looked down at my computer so I wouldn't have to "witness" that awkwardness.
lol Right? It's actually painful to watch. DH and I frequently cover our eyes and look away because it's just too awkward.
Her mouth is SO beyond weird and that's the part I dislike the most. I cannot handle the constant movement of her lips like that. Honestly they are just editing her into a bad version of Michelle Money. The Emily girl also does an odd thing with her mouth, plus she is childish.
Yes, Emily does this "Bewitched nose twitch" thing which is pretty weird.
I think this is so true. Notice they first targeted Blakeley & Monica as the evil b*tches (notice they're now great with the other girls and Monica actually seems to be one of the more level-headed contestants! lol) & when that didn't pan out, they started in with the Courtney drama.
Also, random side note but did anyone else notice how painfully awkward Ben was on the horse?? I was laughing--why does this show continue to choose such horrible date ideas?
