Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Posting pics from Flickr
Do any of you post here from Flickr? How do you do it? Do you use the short code? I can never get it to work.

I do.
1. In Flickr - view the picture so that you have the different options of sizes (I always click on the large image)
2. right click and go to "Properties"
3. Find the "address" line, select all and copy
4. Open your post that you are composing
5. Click on the "insert / edit image" icon
6. Paste the "address" into the "URL" line
7. in the dimensions boxes, make sure the width (first number) is no larger than 350, delete the second number (this keeps the image proportions correct)

8. Click on the picture that you just inserted
9. Click on the "Link" icon
10. paste the same address into the URL line
11. Change the "target" to open in a new window
(your image should now have a blue border around it)
