I made that Philly Cheesesteak recipe last night. I made it in a crockpot though, I put all the ingredients in the crockpot with a bit of water, then doubled the sauce (since it was being diluted in water) and poured it over the steak and veggies. I actually wasn't home when H got home and he texted me about how torturous the smells were haha. 

When it came time to serve I drained all of the juices and put the veggies and steak in an oven safe container topped with mozzarella cheese and broiled it until it was melted. I'm pretty sure it's H's new favorite meal, he ate his with tortillas

Everything was sooo tender and the crock pot seemed a ton easier than the cooking method you posted.
