One of our receptionists is out this week so the office manager emailed the admins with mail bins to let them know they needed to handle their own mail for the week. The other admin in my department forwarded me the email as an FYI yesterday (she has the mail bin), and then promptly dropped a stack of letters and packages that needed to be taken care of. I knew she was busy, so I said I?d take care of them, ?for today?
Now it seems she went and told the other receptionist to tell everyone to bring their mail directly to me, without clearing this with me. I?m all for helping out, but I?m already juggling 2 peoples jobs right now.
The bin on her desk is full, I?m thinking of disappearing for the next half hour just so I don?t have to be biitchy about telling her I cannot and will not do this.
Re: I will cut a b!tch.
Here you go! I would be upset about that too.
I can imagine you like this:
Yup.
I did find a trick for today that seemed to work. I dashed back and forth to the copier like I was in a huge rush. Not long after I heard her on her typewriter, so I'm assuming she finally took care of it all.
