embarrassing moment and a psa!

So I went for a jog today and was really trying to push myself. Unfortunately I am really congested... I ended up running hard until I started choking and threw up in the middle of the trail. Embarrassed I decide to turn around and head home

 

ETA - It actually kinda freaked me out. I literally could NOT breathe for a few seconds...

 Not 30 feet later I turned my ankle on a branch and flew into the grass. Almost did it again 50 feet later. I kinda slowed down at this point... =/

 

But when I came home I finally used my Nike Training Club app - it is a bunch of at home workouts. It was awesome!

I am dreading taking off my shoe though... Hope the ankle is ok!

  • Aw! I hope your ankle is okay! And this is probably going to be me for my first 50 runs or so once I am cleared for running.

  • Dude, pushing yourself until you puke = not ok!!

    Ice your ankle to reduce any swelling you might get. Why would you do this to yourself after you've finally just got around to not having crutches? Silly woman!

    I don't know! But, I think a lot of it has to do with being REALLY stuffed up...
