So I'm not one who lets stress get to me normally, but I think I'm almost at my max!!!
As you may remember, I told H that I had seen a counselor and an attorney, and even though I never officially said the word "divorce", it was heavily implied. Well, that was 2 weeks ago and I haven't done anything since. We've had a LOT going on lately!!!
Had my last counseling session last week. She isn't referring me to anyone as she thinks I've got my head on straight. My dad is on standby to get a loan for me to retain the attorney, all I have to do is say "Go".
H and I have been seriously talking about putting my 13 year old diabetic/blind/deaf/incontinent dog down; however, we are still in limbo. I've called the vet and gotten prices, just haven't made THE appointment. I've prepared myself for it, but just can't make the final call.
This past Monday I got the shock of my life... my healthy dog suddenly started collapsed and I rushed her to the vet to find out she had internal hemoraghing and a possible stroke and had to put her down. I am absolutely heartbroken. She was my first baby girl and has been in my life for 14 years. She's been through everything with me, as has my other dog mentioned above; however, she and I had a very special bond. I am still in shock and the slightest mention of her brings me to tears.
I also have impending nasal surgery either in February or March. I am NOT looking forward to this as I hear the recovery is hell. I don't even know where I'll be when my surgery is scheduled. I want to get the papers filed ASAP, but don't know how soon I'll move out of our house. I kind of would like to be there for recovery as my mom's house is not the cleanest (the dog is allowed all over the furniture) and I think I'd be more peaceful at home than at my mom's.
AHHH... I have so much going on and I don't know how much more I can handle before it all gets to be too much and I crack!!!! Phew, thanks for letting me vent!!!
